Texas Children's Hospital has openings for Medical Technologist - Pathology positions in Houston, TX.


Duties Include:

  • Perform highly specialized molecular and genomic testing of patient specimens for diagnosis and management of patients with solid tumor and hematologic cancers, including all associated quality control and regulatory compliance.



  • Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, Chemical, Physical, Biology Science, or a related field, and 1 year of work experience in a clinical molecular or next generation sequencing laboratory with an emphasis on cancers.
  • Position also requires one of the following: Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or (MLS) by ASCP or NCA; Certification in Molecular Biology (MB); Molecular Pathology (MP); or a valid medical technologist license from any state.
