We are searching for a Director of Pharmacy Services: Inpatient — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll be responsible for overall operation and quality of pharmacy services, including the administrative, clinical, distributive, and technical activities of the department. You will oversee and ensure an effective and safe medication use process. Lastly, you will provide patient care in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served (0-Adult).

Responsibilities :

  • Develops leadership skills and provides development opportunities for staff to grow professionally through coaching
  • Works with pharmacy administrative team to ensure appropriate educational opportunities for their teams are developed and performed
  • Establishes priorities and educates on hospital’s critical success factors
  • Develops and oversees a plan for performance improvement including the continual review and modification of the plan as necessary
  • Actively participates in organization-wide initiatives (administrative and medical staff) to provide support, direction, and input that will contribute to the success of new processes/programs
  • Works with Materials Management, PA and HealthPlan to identify opportunities for pharmacy input and involvement in establishing secure medication storage, procurement and distribution


  • Pharm D. 
  • RPH - Pharmacist from Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • 5 years of pharmacy experience
  • 3 years of supervisory experience
