We are searching for a Manager of Business Operations — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll manage and lead the daily business and personnel activities and to provide administrative support to the Director. You will scrutinize all assigned financial reports and determine appropriate operational adjustments to assist with meeting departmental and organizational fiscal goals. Lastly, you will collaborate with the Director and Medical Service Chief and/or other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with department leadership in developing and maintaining a performance improvement infrastructure, and assisting with program development and maintaining interdepartmental relationships
  • Manages inpatient and outpatient business operations, including referral management, scheduling, authorization, charge entry and billing practice, denial management, and reimbursement
  • Demonstrates accountability for cost-effective management of resources while ensuring the department achieves patient care goals
  • Collaborates with leadership teams, to review and refine business operation goals and specific charging strategies to ensure optimal reimbursement and compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Establishes staffing roles, schedules, and productivity guidelines according to patient needs and budget
  • Ensures the on-going review and development of process improvements for ensuring patient safety, patient flow, workflow, and customer/employee satisfaction
  • Coaches and develops staff using the organization's performance management system


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 3 years of business operations or experience in a health care environment (i.e., hospital, outpatient clinic or physician practice)
  • Previous leadership experience and work experience in pediatrics, rehabilitation therapies, and/or financial business or insurance experience preferred
