We are searching for a Payroll and Timekeeping Manager — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this role, you'll provide support to the Assistant Director and above in planning and directing accurate and timely payroll processing and timekeeping functions. This role will direct the work of all the professional and clerical staff, and address issues related to payroll and timekeeping processing and work with the organization's departments to develop more efficient processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Develops, monitors, and maintains payroll and timekeeping processes for all internal entities
  • Reviews and processes all logs of staff members and develops/maintains benchmarks for staff performance measures
  • Provides customer service by responding to employee and leader inquiries in a timely and accurate manner and overseeing customer service functions of all workgroups
  • Ensures the maintenance of, and identifies and implements enhancements to the systems supporting payroll and timekeeping processes while working closely with stakeholders in Human Resources and Finance for functional support
  • Participates in the leadership of the department by coordinating training activities for staff and stakeholders
  • Assumes an active role in the management of team meetings and events while assisting in the decision-making process for departmental issues
  • Maintains an adequate control environment through the ongoing development and review of departmental policies and procedures
  • Executes other reporting and analysis on payroll and timekeeping processing under the direction of departmental leadership


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • CPP- Certified Payroll Professional license preferred
  • 5 years of payroll or accounting operations of a mid-to-large sized company
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
