We are searching for a Respiratory Clinical Manager - Transport Services & Mission Control — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll be accountable for the clinical, educational, administrative, and operational activities of the transport services/mission control team. You will also work collaboratively with departmental leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient and family-centered care.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain clinical competence of respiratory staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality, age-appropriate, family-centered and cost-effective care
  • Provide supervision of respiratory therapists and EMT staff and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
  • Assist departmental leadership in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new respiratory therapy staff, in addition to collaborating with the department to support orientation of new transport respiratory staff
  • Monitor productivity and assures that staffing and resources are aligned with patient care and operational needs
  • Observe, identify, and address human resource issues
  • Participate in quality initiatives to develop and monitor clinical respiratory outcomes during transport and establish performance metric dashboards including reporting unplanned intubations, use of end tidal CO2, and POCT compliance
  • Align departmental goals with organizational mission and strategic plan and coordinate with stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships
  • Review and report department data so stakeholders have the information needed to identify trends such as business development opportunities and shift in transfer volume


  • Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care required
  • BLS, RRT, RRT NPS, passport, PALS, NRP, C-NPT, and ACLS certification required
  • 5 years’ experience in clinical respiratory
  • Transport experience preferred
