We are on the hunt for our next Sales Associate-someone who can thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position you'll help provide quality merchandise and service to all toy shop customers. We need someone who can appropriately handle cash and charge transactions and display excellent customer service skills.

•Provides customer service in a timely manner and in a desirable environment
•Rings up sales, following appropriate procedures and guidelines, to assist the customer with their purchase
•Handles phone orders, ensuring all information taken is correct, appropriate forms are completed and merchandise is delivered to correct room
•Follows all procedures regarding cash register functions, opening and closing of shop and merchandise transfers
•Follows all appropriate guidelines and procedures regarding charges, payroll deduction, layaways, and gift certificates when ringing up sales
•Assists with ordering candy, sundries, drinks and snacks and other merchandise as requested by supervisor, to ensure customer demand is met and shelves are fully stocked at all times
•Stocks shelves at least once each day, but as often as needed to ensure merchandise is available to customers
•Keeps shop neat and orderly and assists with special projects as needed and as requested by supervisor
•Ensures merchandise is well-displayed and rotated to keep merchandise fresh-looking and interesting to customers
•High School diploma or GED
•One (1) year experience in a retail setting or customer service in a public arena
•Two (2) years of experience in a retail setting or customer service in a public arena is preferred
•Knowledge of basic math, cash register functions, and computer skills
•Ability to appropriately handle cash and charge transactions and excellent customer service skills
