We are searching for a Director of Ambulatory Services - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll plan, direct, and maintain activities that promote our mission and philosophy within Ambulatory Services.

Responsibilities :

  • Direct departmental operations to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, age-appropriate care within a family-centered environment as measured by patient satisfaction scores, patient complaints, performance improvement indicators, regulatory compliance, and new programs/initiatives
  • Assure the delivery of cost-effective care as measured by variance analysis reports, technical and professional billing, revenue enhancement, expense reduction, and audit reports
  • Ensure the creation of a work climate that fosters employee satisfaction and organizational commitment through regular interaction with service chiefs and clinic managers
  • Develop and implement department priorities that enhance the organization’s strategic plan, achieves outcomes, and improve processes to enhance patient safety, PI initiatives, efficiency, and improved trends and benchmarks
  • Ensure the provision of effective training and development opportunities for staff and leaders in order to continuously improve and develop talent to ensure ongoing success
  • Lead, participate, and collaborate on interdepartmental teams, work groups, and committees that support organizational priorities
  • Prepare and submit annual capital and operating budgets as well as appraisals for direct reports


  • Master’s degree in health care administration, nursing, or business administration
  • 5 years’ experience in a management/leadership role in an ambulatory setting
