Summary:

We are searching for a Sr. Systems Analyst- EPIC Clin-Doc — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll be responsible for developing Epic application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Texas Children's Integrated Delivery System along with supporting all phases of a system implementation or upgrade project and provide production services such as recommending improvements to strategy, system usage, or process through the application of business and technology skill sets. You will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including configuration, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.

 

-Prefer experience with EPIC Clin-Doc

-Experience handling product support issues related to Clin-Doc

-Experience working on enhancements and upgrades to EPIC/Clin-Doc

 

Nice to have:

EPIC Haiku or Canto

Certification in Clin-Doc

  • Translates users’ needs into detail requirement specifications
  • Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle
  • Performs configuration analysis for system design associated medium sized projects of average complexity
  • Analyzes system problems and modifications
  • Coordinates implementation and upgrades of complex systems


Qualifications:

 

Skills & Requirements

 

  • HS. Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 9 years of experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation and support
  • Bachelor’s Degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience, Master’s Degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
  • Two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience
