Summary:

We are searching for a Financial Business Intelligence Analyst I - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll assist the Manager of Financial Business Intelligence in collecting, analyzing, and organizing information that will help hospital management make decisions.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze the business use of existing systems to identify problems to be resolved and define system applications improvements
  • Assist users to resolve functional application problems
  • Liaise with Information Services to perform application maintenance activities
  • Produce, publish, and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational analysis relating to financial performance and revenue cycle operations
  • Prepare the analysis for model development, ad-hoc financial and operational analyses, and recurring monthly financial and statistical reports
  • Assist other team members with data compilation and report preparation
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Develop and implement yearly objectives to enhance service and the department
  • Interact at staff meetings and volunteer for a minimum of two assignments per year


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, health care administration, business administration, information technology or industrial engineering required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 1 year experience working with financial reporting systems
