Summary:

We are searching for a Project Analyst — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will lead integrated, complex, or cross-departmental projects and/or manage the ongoing maintenance of a group of related activities.

  • Establishes project plans and conducts work team meetings
  • Determines staff resource needs by assessing the size, duration, scope, and complexity of the project
  • Establishes and maintains project implementation plans and project status reports
  • Determines, analyzes, and formulates current practices, user needs, and workflow processes, issues, and potential solutions
  • Appraises alternative system and processes for workability and economic feasibility
  • Serves as Business Services Department representative as a participating member of designated committees
  • Analyzes and provides spend analysis, contract analysis, and category analysis
  • Examines data regarding cost and availability of materials and services needed


Qualifications:

Skills & Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 2 years of work experience
  • 2 years of business, project, and/or health care experience
  • Knowledge of current hospital and department business practices, computer systems, and hospital standard software
  • Familiarity with data processing techniques and practices
  • Working knowledge of hardware and software environments
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare industry and patient access function
  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in project management, multi-tasking, planning, and process mapping
  • Ability to demonstrate group presentation, leadership, team building, written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze systems and processes and their ability to fit within specifications
  • Ability to work independently
