Summary:

We are searching for a Pharmacy Director — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll provide highly specialized, integrated services through drug usage reviews, formulary analysis, disease management evaluations, and ensuring strong strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with driving strategic planning and direction, business growth, and profitability for pharmacy products and services
  • Develop appropriate objectives and financial targets for all aspects of drug product benefit coverage and reimbursement
  • Provide knowledge regarding the quality of care for pharmaceuticals and provide input for the development of medical care guidelines
  • Engage with business leaders regarding operational issues related to retail pharmacies and clinician-administered medications
  • Liaise with various groups and manage the relationship with the Pharmacy Benefit Manager
  • Design and implement robust educational programs and contribute to pharmacy-related articles as needed
  • Support contracting, provider relations, members services, and care management with clinical expertise as needed
  • Prepare and submit the annual capital and operating budget


Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in pharmacy required
  • RPH certification required
  • 3 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist AND 1 year in a pharmacy managed care residency program required OR 3 years’ experience in managed care.
