Summary:

We are searching for a Front Office Specialist I Mobile Clinic — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will coordinate and perform the scheduling of patients, receive and greet visitors, answer and handle incoming calls, coordinate the referral process, enter accurate billing information into system, and transmit accurate claims.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs reception duties
  • Reviews billing information
  • Coordinates referrals
  • Schedules appointments
  • Monitors patient information and other practice data
  • Processes patient payments
  • Maintains integrity of electronic health record
  • Demonstrates Creating SMILES and AIDET philosophies to patients, families, and co-workers
  • Provides operational support


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Texas Driver’s License from State of Texas within in 90 days of entering the role
  • Prior to hire, must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check demnstrating a clear driving record as defined by the routine driver qualifications outlined in the hospital’s safety policy and procedure
  • Must maintain clear driving record
  • 1 year of related experience
  • Knowledge of general office tasks, confidentiality, filing, medical terminology, and managed care referral processes
  • Knowledge of related OSHA guidelines and requirements
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, to act in a professional manner, to type, to file, to use a multi-line telephone, computer, fax, and copier
