We are searching for a Director of Patient Support Services — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be the senior leader responsible for Volunteer Services, Auxiliary, The Ronald McDonald House, Guest Services, Language Services, and other areas of operational support and associated community partnerships. You will partner, lead, create, and implement staffing and programming to support the organization's goals and provide 24-hour accountability for the operations, administrative, and human resources activities within designated areas. Lastly, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, developmentally-appropriate patient care in a family-centered care environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, age-appropriate, cost-effective care and/or service within a family-centered care environment
  • Mentor other leaders to enhance their performance and promote ongoing staff development and create an environment that fosters employee participation, satisfaction and organizational commitment
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical leadership, direct reports, and appropriate interdepartmental liaisons to ensure the achievement of identified goals
  • Develop and implement service/departmental-based priorities that support the organization’s strategic plan and continually improve performance
  • Organize and prioritize service-based goals that support the IDS Strategic Plan as measured by direct observation


  • Master’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 5 years’ minimum of supervisory/management experience, including 3 years of operations experience
  • Certification and/ or licensure within a clinical discipline in areas of responsibility strongly preferred
