We are searching for a School Coordinator— someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting patients and families in maintaining a child's enrollment in school and provide support for the school curriculum.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide educational support through 1:1 sessions or classrooms, and based on the students’ current curriculum, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) plan or Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD)
  • Support and assist in collaborating for the patient’s educational needs with the patient’s current school district
  • Collaborate with volunteer services, school district, and volunteer tutors to oversee student tutoring support
  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled, and/or reads minutes as noted by attendance and participate in school district meetings about the organizations programming as appropriate
  • Develop educational materials for families to support their understanding of the organizations programming


  • Bachelor’s degree in education
  • Texas Standard Teaching Certificate from the Texas Education Agency
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a school setting/system
  • Must have high school math and/or science teaching experience
  • Bilingual or ESL teacher preferred
  • Section 504 experience preferred
