We are searching for an Academic Coordinator — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will coordinate and support all academic functions for the department and assist with department priorities as needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain faculty biographies posted on the external website as well as the department records of the faculty for credentialing and licensure
  • Initiate EPIC queries for faculty clinical log requests
  • Conduct article pulls and Pub Med searches as needed
  • Participate in the preparation of abstracts, manuscripts, chapters, etc
  • Assist with the department call schedule, monthly physician time studies, and completion of biweekly employee time sheets
  • Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, construction of the itinerary, and reimbursements
  • Maintain department calendar of celebrations to ensure high department morale


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in coordinating or supporting academic functions
