We are searching for an IRIS Clinical Analyst - Pharmacy — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll manage and promote activities to ensure safe medication use and promote optimal drug therapy through review, analysis, and modifications to the medication database to support WillowRx and related applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Update the database with medication mnemonic additions, deletions, and modifications, as well as gather and interpret clinical information required to address safety considerations
  • Build and verify the medication order entry specific to the drug, dose, route frequency, administration instructions, ordering instructions, and associated lab rules
  • Ensure best practice medication alerts and warnings are created and appropriate
  • Ensure the database is consistent with the parental production preparation, expiration dating reference, last minute preparation, do not tube list, dilution preparation labels, medication use guidelines, and pre-printed order forms
  • Coordinate updates to the pharmacy computer system that impact medication inventory
  • Collaborate with IPS pharmacists to ensure the accuracy of investigational medication order entry, mnemonic additions, deletions, etc
  • Establish timely updates to the smart pump drug libraries
  • Validate and build established dispense logic to ensure appropriate billing
  • Participate in the education and training of pharmacy employees, students, residents, and other personnel
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Participate in functional and integrated testing


  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pharmacy required
  • RPH certification required
  • 1 year pharmacy experience required
