We are searching for a Department Coordinator — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll coordinate and support conference events, which can include scheduling conference rooms, preparing event calendars, generating reports, and working with other departments regarding set-up.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain conference room schedules and ensure the efficient use of space and resources for each meeting
  • Liaise between the event leader, facility operations, security, and/or vendors to ensure correct event set-up
  • Maintain training and conference room equipment/supplies
  • Program the AV system for the rack room
  • Conduct inspections of all conference center equipment
  • Work with IS to determine the availability of event scheduling software
  • Ensure that the area is clean and orderly
  • Ensure effective communication and work flow for your assigned area


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5 years’ experience in administration support or event scheduling required
  • Project management software experience preferred
