We are searching for a Director of Planning and Analytics—someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will lead the monitoring, analysis and interpretation of information, anticipating emerging industry trends and disruptors. Additionally, you will oversee the ongoing monitoring of the relevant external data trends such as birth rates, projected population growth, demographic shifts, and emerging dynamics.

Responsibilities :

  • Develops proactive and reactive opportunities within existing and emerging markets for our client
  • Identifies key relationships, trends, priorities and gather intelligence within target markets and interprets this information and recommends points of entry and opportunities for development
  • Completes research and assessments related to existing and potential market development efforts
  • Sets vision and provides leadership in the qualitative and quantitative analysis and monitoring of key external market trends and internal data elements
  • Leads and directs recommendations for strategic growth of services for our client
  • Develops scenario models to capture the potential impact of external trends
  • Leads critical quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to project the financial impact of operational decisions on service models, which can include building volumetric projections, analytic models, and sensitivity analyses, obtaining and manipulating data, and preparing summaries and presentations for the executive team and board of trustees
  • Conducts deep dives on specific market dynamics such as mergers and acquisitions, market disruptors and consumer behaviors
  • Develops and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with our client’s administration, faculty and staff as well as maintains communication with external organizations that track and/or monitor relevant data
  • Provides outstanding customer service, develop strong relationships with executives, directors and all other leadership positions across the organization, identifies and resolves problems quickly and appropriately, and ensures communication is maximized


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a healthcare related field
  • Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a healthcare related field preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in a strategic and/or financial planning environment
  • 2 years’ formal supervisory/management experience
  • Experience in healthcare or consulting preferred
