We are searching for an Assistant Director of Cancer and Hematology Centers — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you in partnership with the division or center's faculty director, plan, organize and manage the activities and programs within the Oncology and BMT areas. You will serve as the primary contact for strategic planning, as well as all daily operational related issues. Lastly, you will provide guidance, and direction to faculty, trainees, staff and unpaid personnel, who conduct the activities of the division/center.

Responsibilities :

  • Complete and present strategic plans for the advancement of support and activities of the division/center
  • Coordinate activities of the division/center and provide leadership to the long-term and short-term operational needs of those who work in the unit
  • Promote a customer service-based culture and partnership management by working in collaboration with institutional leadership, other departments, divisions, and center members
  • Ensure divisional and center compliance with regulatory & safety requirements and enhance the quality of the unit’s activities, processes, and outcomes
  • Oversee the planning and management of the finances of the department
  • Responsible for the financial management of the operational budget for the division/center


  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, hospital administration or related healthcare or business field
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business operations, research, and or quality experience
  • A master’s degree in science, business, hospital administration or related healthcare or business field may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
