We are searching for a Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist— someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll utilize the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to lead and coordinate all phases of the optimal design, development, evaluation, and support of clinical technology solutions utilized by care providers. You will be responsible for translating business and clinical care needs, using appropriate tools and methodologies. You will ensure that systems are consistent with professional standards of practice and meet strategic goals of the organization. Lastly, you will integrate nursing science, computer science, and information science to lead efforts to manage and communicate data, information, and knowledge into clinical practice improvements.

Responsibilities :

  • Serves as System Administrator for applications owned by Clinical Informatics
  • Leads and manages multiple, complex, simultaneous projects
  • Supports the improvement of clinical outcomes and clinician efficiency
  • Provides ongoing management of clinical informatics systems
  • Translates end user needs into system optimizations
  • Leads in the planning and strategic development of clinical systems



  • 7 years of experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation and support, or specific clinical experience in nursing, respiratory care, occupational/physical therapy, or pharmacy
  • 3 years of experience in an informatics job role
  • 2 years of experience managing medium to large sized information services projects is preferred
  • 5 years of information systems related experience such as super user, information systems related committees, or go- live support for information systems is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, nursing or other related field
  • Candidates must have one of the following licenses listed below
  • RN - Lic-Registered Nurses
  • NP - Nurse Practitioner
  • PNP - Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  • NNP - Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • FNP - Cert-Family Nurse Practitioner
  • RCP - Lic- Respiratory Care - RCP
  • OT - Occupational Therapist
  • PT - Physical Therapist
  • EPIC CER - EPIC CERT ANY/UNSPECIFIED or RN-BC IN - Cert-Informatics Nurse is preferred but not required
