Summary:

We are searching for a Supervisor of Payment Operations— someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide the day-to-day direction and oversight to the payment operations team. You will serve as a resource for the department on highly complex issues and problem resolution. Lastly, you will function as a subject matter expert for departmental staff.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct daily and weekly analysis of reports which assess department performance and identifies corrective action plans where required for issues such as stats, quality, staff turnover, and attendance
  • Manage team members’ performance to ensure delivery on defined key performance indicators (KPIs) in line with organizational policies and procedures
  • Implement quality control procedures in conjunction with the quality team to ensure that process adherence is met, and quality services are being delivered
  • Document reviews by both insurance and self-pay accounts and follow up with Account Representatives on any improperly submitted requests
  • Ensure the timely and effective two-way communication of strategic and operational messages to teams


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare business office setting with hospital or billing knowledge
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree may substitute for the experience
