We are searching for a Biomedical Equipment Planner — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the equipment planning for all IDS service (RFS) requests and projects. Your responsibilities will include providing equipment selection and specifications to assure proper integration of medical technology throughout all phases of new and/or renovation projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide input to budget projects that include equipment, and review project scopes to assure enough funding is allocated for needed equipment
  • Develop project-specific equipment lists in compliance with established timelines and attend project meetings to provide documents and input related to equipment planning
  • Review purchase requisitions to verify completeness including quantities, accessories, options and/or related components
  • Assist in managing the pre-installation site planning and preparation process from initiation thru installation
  • Liaise with users, gain quotes needed, provide users with the next steps regarding operational purchases, VP pool, or CPC funding requests
  • Meet with and communicates with Sr. Medical Technology Architect and the client's departmental leadership as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum 2 years’ experience in equipment planning
  • A bachelor’s degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted
