We are searching for a Staff Attorney — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide legal guidance related to our Health Plan operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides legal guidance and oversight to management and executives as well as respond to inquiries from governmental agencies
  • Provide legal support with provider contracts, disputes, policy and compliance regulations
  • Maintains positive working relationships with customers and third parties
  • Drafts/negotiates complex or high-risk contracts
  • Works in a collaborative manner with leaders to ensure underlying business needs and objectives are effectively met through contractual arrangements


  • Juris Doctor Degree required
  • License to practice law in the state of Texas required
  • 1 year of legal experience required
  • Experience working with a Health Plan or Healthcare transactions preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable areas of law and proven ability to provide practical legal advice that protects the assets and standing of the organization
  • Must be able to communicate effectively outside of the company as well as with all levels of the organization’s leadership and end users
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in presentation format
  • Must possess effective negotiation and resolution skills
  • Also required is the ability to effectively utilize computer word processing and spreadsheets software
  • Must be able to organize information and resources, effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks
