We are searching for a Clinical Program Coordinator for our Cochlear Implant program with our ENT department– someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you will be responsible for the coordination of all activities related to evaluation and consultation, coordination of physicians/OR teams for surgical interventions, family communication and education, along with the coordination of multidisciplinary team to assess and care for the patient. Additionally, you will be responsible for the care of the inpatients, discharge planning, outpatient follow-up, as well as pertinent data management for the program/clinic for research, outcomes and/or reporting purposes.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides education to those in need
  • Provides education to patients, families, communities, and other hospital/ medical staff concerning all aspects of the disease as demonstrated by in-service records and the patient teaching record
  • Coordinates all activity necessary for the program/clinic
  • Coordinates all activity for identification, evaluation, and presentation of potential patients according to departmental policy as observed by Clinic Chief or attending physician
  • Provides follow-up on patients
  • Coordinates interdisciplinary team conferences to review cases and determine agreed upon plan of care
  • Acts as a liaison between the physicians and other staff
  • Acts as a patient advocate in maintaining communication and promoting continuity of care between clinical program and referring and community physicians
  • Maintains database of potential patients
  • Maintains database to assist with patient care and research


  • Graduation from an educational program applicable to the program specialty (the area of the applicable license) RN required
  • 3 years’ licensed clinical pediatric experience required
  • 5 years of RN experience in pediatrics or ENT preferred
