We are looking for a Critical Care Operations Coordinator -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will collaborate with nursing management and materials management to ensure supplies are available for patient care. You will develop, implement, and maintain control of inventory supplies for a number of service lines. You’ll also reconcile supply expenses and supply revenue while increasing awareness of supply expenses and stewardship.

Responsibilities :

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory for the assigned service lines, as evidenced by supervisory observation
  • Liaises with nursing and materials management
  • Performs cycle counts and reconciles any discrepancies regarding inventory balances, lost charges, and inappropriate charges
  • Raises patient care provider attention regarding supply expense containment
  • Helps maintain durable medical equipment
  • Facilitates meetings or informal training sessions for inventory activity, as needed
  • Utilizes creative means to educate patient care providers on proper procedures and to raise supply cost awareness, as evidenced by supervisory observation
  • Performs other job-related duties within the time frame, as assigned by the manager


Skills & Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3 years’ medical supply management experience required (a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or materials management may be substituted for the experience)
  • Strong ability to analyze inventory data for the identification and recommendation of individual stock levels required
  • Must have strong Exel expereince/knowledge
  • Epic expereince preferred
  • Peoplesoft expereince preferred
