Summary:

We are searching for a Director of Information Systems Strategic Project Delivery — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and management of the information technology portfolio and project delivery systems and their respective technologies. You will be accountable for providing leadership and reporting to ensure Information Systems' programs and projects identified as critical to the success of the system are completed on time, within budget, and delivers the value outlined in respective program and project charters. Lastly, you will provide effective communication on the health of the project portfolio, and partnership with all stakeholders to drive the required level of focus prioritization and resource allocations to successfully deliver key programs and projects.

  • Highly prefer Director or Executive level role leading programs and/or projects at complex organizations.
  • Experience performing at a Director level for a multi-billion dollar organization with 10,000+ employees highly desired.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role Director or Executive highly desired
  • Desire a min. of 5+years’ experience delivering multi-million-dollar programs and or projects.
  • Highly desire proven experience performing at a Director level for a multi billion dollar organization with 10,000+ employees.
  • Highly desire experience leading a team of no less than 10 project managers.
  • Responsibility will include IT facilities, software, hardware, cybersecurity, and systems, experience in these areas is highly preferred.
  • Desire experience with Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
  • Desire proven experience transforming IT and influence the organization towards a transparent Agile approach.

 

 



Responsibilities :

· Responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the information technology portfolio, program, and project governance

· Establish standards for portfolio, program and project management capabilities, skills, and tools that align with industry best practices and disciplines

· Develop and implement information technology services and project resource management processes and systems

· Develop and implement Information Services resource management processes, and partner with IS leaders to ensure resource allocations are aligned with strategic priorities

· Create and implement a risk-based process for reviewing and addressing variances in capacity and demand forecasts posing risks to the successful delivery of strategic programs and projects

· Define and implement the IS relationship management function to ensure appropriate services are identified, designed and transitioned to meet the information technology needs of our operational partners



Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration, healthcare administration, nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field

· Master’s degree preferred

· ITIL 3 certification preferred

· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in information technology and 5 years’ in a formal leadership experience role required

· Experience in quality assurance/testing preferred
