Summary:

We are looking for an Sr. Applications Developer -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform custom application development, data and application integration for our organization, and devise and design technical requirements and estimate effort. You’ll be responsible for documentation of well-defined methods, procedures, programs and configurations in the delivery of application services. You’ll also collaborate with clinical and business users to ideate and create new solutions that will directly impact patient care.

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
  • C#
  • Web Development (such as HTML5, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery , etc.)
  • SQL Server Database Development(T-SQL)
  • Experience with micro services architecture
  • Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
  • Object Relational Mapping (Entity Framework preferred)
  • Test Case Creation, Unit Testing
  • Agile: Scrum or Kanban

Preferred Skills:

  •  Azure DevOps
  • Alexa skill development
  • Xamarin (or other mobile app development experience with Android or iOS)

Responsibilities :

  • Designs and provides design documentation for applications and processes
  • Plans, communicates and manages risk related to tasks
  • Accurately communicates status on individual assignments and prioritize to complete on schedule. Contributes details to the overall plan within your scope of experience and skills
  • Conducts application software development and testing
  • Applies knowledge of tools and technologies relevant to software development and assists Developers and Sr. Programmer/Analysts in the use of the tools
  • Deploys applications and supports transition
  • Provides problem solving and analysis related to support of applications and application integration
  • Participates in overall application support delivery activities
  • Leads application development for projects


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 8 years’ experience as a software developer or software engineer, including 2 years of database design and programming experience, and including 3 years of experience with Microsoft tools, required
  • Project management or project leadership experience preferred
  • An associate's degree in the computer sciences may substitute for 2 years of work experience. A bachelor’s degree in the computer sciences may substitute for 4 years of work experience. A master’s degree in the computer sciences may substitute for 2 years of work experience
