Summary:

We are searching for a Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator to work part time – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will coordinate trainee activities for the department related to the accreditation of residency and fellowship programs. This role will handle the recruitment and selection process for trainees and observers, schedule rotations, maintain records, and oversee the evaluation process for both trainees and teaching faculty. Lastly, you will provide administrative support for the academic program directors (departmental faculty) as related to residency and fellowship programs, as well as provide administrative support to trainees and observers.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary contact for all departmental residency and fellowship activities
  • Assist the program directors (departmental faculty) in maintaining accreditation
  • Develop educational materials, training manuals, and tools for competency testing
  • Coordinate the recruiting process for fellowship candidates
  • Create lists of faculty and trainees that should be monitored on a monthly basis in the online evaluation system
  • Assists the program directors in developing and preparing training materials for the residents and fellows
  • Coordinates rotation schedules for residents and fellows, along with external trainees
  • Prepares for rotation arrivals and departures in the following areas: schedules, badge access, computer access, parking cards


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college or equivalent management coursework preferred
  • At minimum 5 years’ of administrative and/or office management experience
