Summary:

We are searching for a Desktop App Integration Analyst II – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide guidance and support to the Client Systems Integration team. You will initiate process and performance improvements within the team improving the computing environment to meet customer needs. Additionally, you will proactively plan for the future by introducing new technologies and more efficient processes to increase productivity. You will advise team members, analysts, and management on technical and procedural matters. You will also work to develop strong partnerships and communication channels with the IDS, its partners, and vendors.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides guidance and support to the AIT team
  • Meets customer needs and works with appropriate technical teams and management to deliver customer-oriented solutions
  • Designs, implements, and maintains a standard desktop platform for business and clinical applications
  • Tests new software, hardware, or peripherals providing detailed test plans and executes according to team-developed standers
  • Takes a lead role in the creation and execution of in-depth quality assurance plans by identifying gaps and needs for QA plans based on deployments
  • Ensures successful deployments of workstation operating system and application upgrades
  • Consults with technical staff and customers on the evaluation and integration of new and/or specialized technologies within our client’s IDS
  • Takes a leadership role in the development of customer-oriented solutions
  • Listens to customer and takes appropriate action
  • Administers desktop management and software deployment systems
  • Manages deliver of software throughout the enterprise
  • Performs technical analysis and resolution of application and hardware issues related to the desktop environment
  • Maintains accountability and participates in tracking
  • Enters time into departmental time tracking system accurately and timely


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical diploma in technical or vocational education in a computer-related field preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in desktop support, application scripting, software packaging, or distribution required
