We are searching for an Applications Architect - Business Intelligence – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will review application requirements, application and processing architectures and designs, develop, amend, and certify each application, and system design of the integrated delivery system. You will be responsible for the identification and resolution of the application information flow, the application integration, and the required infrastructure to support application requirements.


Preferred technology experience for this role includes - 

  • Business Intelligence, data visualization, database reporting/programming
  • Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server analysis Services (SSAS) & SQL Server programming
  • NET, C# development experience along with other modern object-oriented programming languages is highly preferred

  • Previous experience developing and deploying ETL solutions on Azure a plus

  • Familiarity with the technology stack for metadata management: Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM, Lineage, Data Catalog etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the new development and ensure it is consistent and integrated with existing information data structure
  • Lead the business analysis, information acquisition analysis and design, data access analysis and design, archive and recovery strategy, security, and change management
  • Appraise the effectiveness of systems flow, data usage, and manual or automated processes to identify flaws
  • Develop, design, and modify the technical specifications for the integrated delivery system
  • Coordinate the design and analysis of the implementation of new systems and modifications to the existing systems
  • Control the system configuration and development process by establishing standards, measuring the work in process, interpreting results, and taking corrective action
  • Perform independent programming for segments of complex problems
  • Define the post-implementation continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance
  • Initiate new programming techniques, methods, procedures, approaches, and standards
  • Assure that the coded logic performs as required by testing the programs via trial runs
  • Prepare program code and system configuration procedure documentation
  • Provide emergency support for malfunctioning systems
  • Participate in meetings concerning consulting, systems analysis, system design, and vendor contracts
  • Serve as the department representative in meetings with the other integrated delivery system components in developing data processing solutions


  • High school diploma
  • 10 years’ experience in major system design and implementation
  • Master’s degree is preferred and can substitute for 2 years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree will substitute 4 years of work experience
  • Management or project leadership is desired
  • Thorough knowledge of relational databases, appropriate programming languages, data structures, associated computer hardware, computer networking, and a variety of operating systems and client/server data processing techniques
