We are searching for a Supervisor of Central Distribution — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will supervise departmental personnel and to control departmental activities for the shift.

Responsibilities :


  • Supervise daily activities in the flow of supplies, and equipment throughout hospital facilities
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels for a designated shift, including approving scheduled and unscheduled Paid Time Off (PTO) requests and preparing area-specific schedule(s) as necessary
  • Ensure that new-hire and temporary staff complete departmental orientation
  • Initiate and document corrective action in a timely manner where appropriate with employees on a specific shift
  • Schedule equipment in-services, to include system transactions, equipment function checks, and preventative maintenance due dates, and ensure that learning has taken place by giving post instructional tests as documented by the manager quarterly
  • Supervise the daily activities of direct issue of supplies, and filling requisitions in a timely fashion as recorded by system transactions
  • Participate as a team member or leader on department initiatives, taking care to be in attendance and on-time for all meetings
  • Identify maintenance issues and scheduled repairs with Plant Engineering




  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 5 years’ supply chain experience
  • A least 1-year experience in lead or supervisory experience
