Summary:

We are searching for a Financial Business Intelligence Analyst I — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist the Manager of Decision Support in collecting, analyzing, and organizing information used for reporting to hospital management to support decision-making.

 

Please note that strong experience in Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary.  SQL and QLIK knowledge and experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

  • Allocate appropriate personnel and resources to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality service, while overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and service agreements
  • Analyze business use of existing systems to identify problems to be resolved and define system applications or process improvements
  • Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational analysis relating to financial performance and revenue cycle operations
  • Prepare financial and statistical reports and monitor trends and variances
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Manager
  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of data used in making decisions throughout the IDS
  • Develop and implement yearly objectives to enhance service and department, adjusting as needed, as evidenced by quarterly meetings and project completion


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, healthcare administration, business administration, information technology or industrial engineering
  • A master’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 1-year experience working with financial reporting systems
