Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Employee Relations Consult -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide direction and guidance to all levels of the organization regarding resolution of employment issues; to assess and identify performance and organizational issues, deliver training to leaders to support the organizational mission by enhancing employee development and productivity; and to coordinate all activities related to Equal Employment and compliance with all fair employment practices, laws and regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Acts as a technical expert on employment laws, policies and other employee relations issues
  • Facilitates the Employee Problem Solving (EPS) process by functioning as mediator, proposing potential solutions to issues and coordinating any necessary hearings
  • Provides internal consulting services to leadership in order to address performance gaps and underlying causes
  • Identifies performance/behavioral concerns and makes recommendations for appropriate resolution
  • Responds to EEOC and other regulatory requests or claims
  • Analyzes exit data as needed to identify trends or patterns within assigned areas of responsibilities which may require additional investigation or intervention
  • Delivers structured in-house general and customized learning experience for management and employees
  • Actively participates on various organizational and departmental committees and teams as a contributing team member


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in human resources with 2 years’ experience in employee relations
