Summary:

We are searching for a Security Risk Architect — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. This position will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of IDS information assets, and protecting them from unauthorized disclosure, modification, and destruction. This position will develop and promote the Information Security Strategic Plan and IDS Information Security Policies, audit compliance with security policies, and lead remediation initiatives along with monitoring the organization and IS administrator's compliance to established security policy. Lastly, you will identify, track, and manage outstanding vulnerabilities and complex incident forensics spanning IDS.

Highly Prefer the following:

 

Security Risk experience

Experience with  Security Audits/Audit results and regulatory standards

Experience reviewing previous audits to determine if gaps have been addressed

Experience creating audit policies/procedures

NIST framework experience 

 



Responsibilities :

  • Develop, review, update, and communicate IDS policies related to information security
  • Develop security specification and certification methodology for all IDS systems to assure that systems are implemented according to security policy
  • Outline long-term technical security requirements assimilating governmental regulations, evolving technical threats, and IDS goals
  • Research evolving threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets and lead initiative to prevent unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction of IDS information assets
  • Plan and initiate projects related to the design and implementation of security infrastructure
  • Advocate IS Security initiatives such as business continuity, policy compliance, and secure system implementation


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance or a related field
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four years of related experience may be substituted
  • CISSP, SANS preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in information security or networking
