Summary:

We are searching for a Financial Analyst (Government Reimbursement and Reporting) – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform all government reporting projects in an accurate and timely manner. This role will routinely make decisions including determining data validity and report formatting for management reporting and analysis, and effective data organization for end-users.

Responsibilities :

The Financial Analyst will: assist leadership in collecting, analyzing and projecting key operational, financial, and statistical information that can be continually measured against quantifiable targets established by all levels of authority, ranging from the departmental managers to the Board of Directors.

  • Maintenance of time study process and related reporting
  • Aid in the preparation of the Charity and Community Benefit Reporting
  • Assist in Supplemental Funding, Rate Enhancement, and Quality Initiative Projects
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Manager of Government Reimbursement & Reporting
  • Support in the analysis and interpretation of data used in making decisions throughout the IDS
  • Immediately escalates to leadership questions regarding assigned tasks and any identified material issues or variances


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), knowledge of budgeting processes and principles, and knowledge of financial analysis and reporting principles
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • One (1) year financial or accounting experience
