Summary:

We are searching for an EAP Specialist — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. This position will provide direct employee assistance program services to EAP clients and sponsoring organizations. These services include consultation and training, development of program awareness activities, employee/family assessment and referral, the establishment of community linkages, case monitoring, and follow-up.

Responsibilities :

  • Assess, diagnosis, treat, refer and provide follow-up services to employees and their families
  • Provide crisis intervention and staff all critical cases with EAP Managers
  • Conduct training on and identify when to call EAP for crisis intervention services
  • Respond to requests for critical incident/crisis intervention services within 30 minutes of page and follow protocol for identifying appropriateness, assessing need, and gathering information
  • Maintain all case/activity documentation in confidential files and software
  • Develop links and maintain a working knowledge and relationship with community resources for referral and collateral assistance
  • Support and facilitate the attainment of institutional goals and strategic plan
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with service providers and community referral sources that provide affordable high-quality services to EAP clients in the spirit of cooperative assistance and continuity of care


Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in social service field
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LMSW required
  • A minimum of 2 years’ direct clinical experience
  • An EAP internship/field placement may be substituted for experience
