We are searching for a Chaplain – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide pastoral care, spiritual counseling and guidance to the patients, families and staff of the hospital.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides leadership in performing and creating necessary ministries as required
  • Provides spiritual assessment and pastoral care to patients, families and staff
  • Interacts with the patient care team on designated units and wherever called to minister
  • Communicates necessary patient information to other team members through effective use of chart notations
  • Orients, trains and helps provide on-going education and support for volunteers, in collaboration with Volunteer Services designee



  • Master’s Degree 
  • The individual is to be ordained or certified by her/his faith group and a graduate of a fully accredited theological seminary with a Master of Divinity degree or canonically and chaplaincy certifying board acceptable equivalent
  • Accredited Clinical Pastoral Education Program – completed 4 units or more
  • Board Certified Chaplain or board eligible and working towards board certification (within two years of employment)


  • Pediatric experience in a hospital setting
