Summary:

We are searching for a MEG Technologist — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures. You will also perform procedures appropriate to their competence and credentials held under general technical supervision.

Responsibilities :

Performs clinical duties associated with Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Studies
• Performs set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test
• Performs patient assessment as related to care, such as electrode product allergies, movement restrictions and cognitive function
• Performs administrative duties associated with Magnetoencephalography Studies
• Documents patient information in patient’s electronic medical record according to hospital and departmental guidelines
• Maintains archiving and management of data across multiple servers and backup systems
• Works with departmental staff and other health care professionals by volunteering regularly to help others when time allows



Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• EEG - Electroencephalograph Technician Certificate from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
• 2 years of experience in electroneurodiagnostic technology
