We are searching for Exercise Physiologist – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll assume responsibility for the Exercise and Laboratories and perform duties in a manner that is developmentally appropriate for the patient population served, primarily pediatric patients ranging in age from neonate to adult with varying degrees of acuity.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform preliminary and post cardiopulmonary exercise test and test functioVerify proper function of equipment that supply inventory and is adequate

  • Improve function of exercise laboratory through collaboration, research, and continuing education

  • Must have knowledge of cardiopulmonary exercise testing and emergency procedures, exercise electrocardiography, exercise physiology, basic anatomy, and biomechanics of exercise

  • Ability to perform the mechanic of cardiopulmonary exercise testing in a timely manner

  • Mastery operation of the following equipment: Marquette MAX-I Exercise System, Marquette 1100 Mass Spectrometer Gas Analyzer, Sensor medics Vmax229 metabolic cart, manual blood pressure baumanometer, Mac VU

  • ECG Machine, MAC 12 ECG Machine, 24 Hour Cardio scan, MUSE System


  • Master's Degree Exercise Science (or comparable) with specialization in Exercise Physiology
  • 1 year previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • 1 year previous experience in Laboratory and personnel management
  • 1 year experience in clinical exercise testing and exercise ECG interpretation


  • PALS - Cert-PALS
  • ACLS - Cert-Adv Cardiac LS ACLS
  • ACSM-CER - Cert-ACSM Cer Personal Trainer
