We are searching for a Pharmacy Clinical Analyst to join our team - someone who will be responsible for building, implementing, supporting, and optimizing the medication databases across the electronic health record (EHR) software and interfaced applications and systems. The analyst participates in the development of workflows, system configuration, change documentation, application upgrades and promotes activities appropriate to ensuring safe medication use for the ages of patients served (0-adult). The analyst must employ excellent communication skills in sharing information with users within and outside the department since the position will be responsible for the on-going maintenance, testing, support, and optimization of pharmacy supported systems within the Texas Children’s enterprise.
We are seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented individual with a strong clinical, operational, and technical background. We prefer individuals with build experience in Epic Willow Inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, and Beacon. Additionally, we will consider individuals with advanced knowledge of Epic integrated systems (automated dispensing systems, carousels, robotics, smart pumps, dose preparation workflow systems, etc) and data extraction/visualization tools i.e., SQL, Qlik.
