Summary:

We are searching for a Medical Assistant II-- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide telemedicine patient care and excellent customer service. You will also assist in the coordination of flow and provider schedules across multiple pediatric specialties to effectively manage patient care. You will be part of the team of a new telemedicine model being launched.

Responsibilities :

  • New telemedicine team in Ambulatory department
  • Providing telemedicine support across multiple pediatric specialties
  • Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills, communication, and customer service skills
  • Facilitates telemedicine appointment check-in procedure
  • Collaborates with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Provides high quality, cost-effective patient care in collaboration with clinicians and in conjunction with the patient/family
  • Completes check out for patients and families
  • Facilitates patient flow as the scheduling master for the clinic


Qualifications:

 

  • College degree preferred
  • CCMA, CMA-AAM, CMA-C, EMT, EMT-A, EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-P, NCMA, NRCMA, RMA or LIC PAR certifications required
  • Two years’ related experience required
  • Experience in a healthcare setting or customer service-focused industry preferred
  • Outpatient clinic operations experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
