Summary:
We are searching for a Retail Coordinator -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will coordinate day-to-day toy and gift shop operations, including overseeing cash reports, special ordering, staff scheduling and training of new sales associates.

Responsibilities :
Ensures daily coverage of all shops
Handles all special orders for customers and departments on a daily basis
Places orders and makes appropriate notes on purchase order for sales associate to complete the order process for appropriate customer or department
Enters all cash receipts balances and ensures accuracy of same
Visits each shop on a daily basis, ensuring merchandise is out on the floor, shelves are clean, and environment is safe according to hospital safety policies and procedures
Communicates all special event dates, hospital and/or toy shop related, to appropriate departments and toy shop staff
Makes copies of all appropriate hospital wide and shop related communications and distributes or posts on shop windows
Coordinates events in collaboration with the Manager of Retail Serviceskkand assigns sales associates duties as needed
Travels to other retail locations as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
3 years retail experience in a gift shop or department store setting
3 years gift-buying experience and knowledge of inventory processes in a retail environment preferred
Hospital experience preferred
7am-7pm availability required
