We are searching for a Nurse Supervisor for our College Station clinic TCP University Pediatric Associates -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this role, you will supervise and direct clinical staff and to gather information, assess and provide direct care to patients.

Responsibilities :


 Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct clinical staff and to gather information, assess and provide direct care to patients
  • Prepare patient for examination per practice protocol
  • Participate as a member of the care team, working with each member of the team to meet goals of patient, participates in care team meetings such as daily huddle and monthly staff meetings
  • Assist in the collection of patient/family data that may include biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information per practice protocol
  • Identify patients eligible for Vaccines for Children Program and follow procedures for accurate documentation and management for this state funded program
  • Provide patient/family education as instructed by the provider or practice protocol
  • Triages presenting patient complaint per practice protocol, using electronic health record for documentation
  • Collect and process specimen according to manufacturer’s instructions and using proper technique


Skills & Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing or an associate’s degree in a related field accepted by the Texas Board of Nursing for the purposes of obtaining and maintaining an RN license required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • RN license from the Nurse Licensure Compact required
  • BLS or PALS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • 1-year experience as a staff nurse or LVN required
  • 1-year supervisory experience preferred
