Summary:

We are searching for an Applications Architect — Data Reporting/Data Visualization - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will review application requirements, application, and processing architecture and design, and develop, amend, optimize, and certify the application and system design of the Integrated Delivery System. You will be responsible for the identification and resolution of the application information flow, the application integration, and the required infrastructure to support application requirements.

 

This role will focus on supporting the data needs for the Ambulatory department. Preferred experience for this role include - 

• Previous experience with Epic 
• Proficiency with data visualization/data analytics tools such as Qlikview, Power BI, or Tableau
• Proficiency with SQL Server

Responsibilities :

• Analyze and coordinate the designing of new and existing applications and architectures of Integrated Delivery System
• Control system configurations and development processes by establishing standards, measuring work in process, interpreting results, and taking corrective action
• Develop and administer system configurations, development plans, and data verification methods and plans as needed
• Prepare system documentation standards and prepare program code documentation in compliance with standards
• Maintain systems, coordinate activities, and disseminate information with the managers and other Information Services personnel, users, and vendors
• Lead development and maintenance programming activities with management, other Information Services personnel, users, or vendors during all phases of the system life cycle
• Identify and recommend tools and technologies using best practices/industry standards to support the strategic direction and to assist in deploying appropriately business initiatives

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; master’s degree in science preferred
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in major system design and implementation experience
• Management or project leadership experience preferred
• A bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience and a master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
• Up to 2 years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to 2 years of information systems experience on a month to month basis
