Summary:
We are searching for a Screening Manager at The Woodlands Campus -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will supervise the activities related to screening services throughout the hospital system, across multiple locations. Responsibilities include formal supervision of the Personnel Screening staff. You will supervise and lead staff ensuring all support functions are performed in a timely manner and meet the needs of customers in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities :
Manages department including developing and implementing of guidelines, policies and procedures
Establishes staffing roles, schedules and productivity guidelines according to staffing needs and budget
Participates in job description development, interviewing, hiring, coaching, developing, and terminating employees
Coordinates resources (staff, equipment, and space) and work assignments to meet process performance targets and departmental customer services expectations
Coordinates the management of screening locations across the system and multiple locations, ensuring consistency
Ensures the on-going review and development of process improvements for ensuring patient safety, efficient patient flow, workflow, and customer/employee satisfaction
Ensures staff has answered questions from visitors and patient families
Monitors areas to ensure proper social distancing measures are in place and all Hospital policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
3 years customer service and/or staff supervision required
Previous experience managing staff members and developing schedules preferred
A Bachelor’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
