Summary:
We are searching for a Screening Associate Lead at the Woodlands Campus-- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide informal oversight of screening activities including but not limited to scheduling, training new staff, monitoring performance, providing updates to management, and responding to patient/employee questions or concerns. This role also participates in personnel screening activities. This is a 1st shift position.

Responsibilities :
Monitors and assists staff activities in assigned areas and other designated areas under the direction of immediate supervisor
Trains and mentors employees to ensure staff can demonstrate required skill competencies and compliance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures
Demonstrates accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic, teamwork and effective communication skills
Ensures effective communication and workflow for responsibilities in assigned area as demonstrated by maintaining good rapport and cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers
Follows departmental communication plan to ensure accurate understanding and appropriate response to information related to job performance and expectations for self and team
Assists employees, contractors and patient families with appropriate screening questions
Screens employees, contractors and patient families for elevated temperature through the use of handheld thermal scanner or computer thermography
Assists with performing screening functions at both patient and employee stations or where needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1 year experience in customer service required
A bachelor’s degree may substitute for the required experience
