We are searching for a Clinical Dietician -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be a part of the Adolescent Medicine team that assesses nutritional needs of patients. This role requires experience with eating disorders and weight management.

Responsibilities :

  • Apply a nutrition diagnosis and develop a nutrition intervention
  • Monitor patient progress and compliance with the intervention
  • Document patient care according to established hospital guidelines
  • Provide nutrition education in individual and group settings
  • Utilizes SBAR techniques to facilitate handoff to different level of care or care provider
  • Contributes to Departmental development and visibility by actively participating in the review and revision of nutrition related resources and policies including but not limited to Educational Materials, the Nutrition Care Manual, The Pediatric Nutrition Reference Guide, Clinical Competency maintenance and development and Nutrition Practice related Policies and Procedures
  • Ability to observe deficiencies and formulate actions to correct the situation, make assessments and recommendations, educate others on nutritional needs, and use word processing, spreadsheet and nutrition programs on a computer


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree highly preferred
  • RD certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registry required
  • LD from the Texas Department of Licensing required
  • Two years’ experience working with eating disorder patients is preferred
