We are searching for a Director of Benefits, Well-Being and Employee Assistance -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will effectively lead the Benefits, Well-Being and Employee Assistance (EAP) functions, in support of the organization’s people and business strategies. The Director delivers compassionate, quality driven, innovative programs that support employee engagement, high performance along with the physical, social and mental needs of employees.

Responsibilities :


  • Provides operational and strategic direction to the Benefits, Well-Being and Employee Assistance teams
  • Reviews department performance, effects changes as needed to improve service, simplifies workflow and assures compliance with regulatory requirements, programs and initiatives
  • Leads all aspects of the well-being and EAP programs and the employees responsible for administering them
  • Develops approaches, strategies, policies, and programs related to system delivery of well-being and EAP including disease management, wellness programs, employee education, psychological support, counseling and crises intervention
  • Leads all aspects of the benefits program and the employees responsible for administering it
  • Ensures that JC requirements specific to your department are fulfilled but also understand the linkage between your department’s requirements and those of the integrated delivery system
  • Assists in the design of innovative wellness programs which encourage employees to participate in all aspects of services provided onsite and virtually


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or other related field required
  • 8 years human resources experience, including 5 years of significant benefits, retirement, health & welfare, total rewards, or other relevant experience required
  • Management/ leadership experience required
  • Executive benefits or related experience preferred
