Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Data Security Analyst - Governance, Risk, & Compliance - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist the Information Security GRC Manager in implementation of the Information Security Strategic Plan and mentoring of Data Security Analysts. This position will lead development of  GRC Risk assessment process and Security awareness program, promote IS Security standards throughout the IDS, and assure that IS Security complies with IS and IDS policies and standards.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience with GRC - governance, risk, & compliance, as well as previous experience running security awareness programs.

Responsibilities :

  • Outlines long-term technical security requirements assimilating governmental regulations, evolving technical threats, and IDS goals
  • Develops, Designs, and Documents Infrastructure
  • Assures that procedures are in place outlining maintenance, notification requirements, alert thresholds, and administrative responsibilities
  • Leads development of guidelines that assist project mangers in development of disaster recovery procedures and contingency plans and risk assessments for all applications
  • Develops and implements security policy compliance and risk assessment procedure including assessment methodology, communication expectations, stakeholder education, and mitigation strategies
  • Mentors, trains, and provides direction for Data Security Analysts
  • Develops and promotes educational guides, presentations, and FAQs for IDS employees


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CISSP certification from The International Information System Security Certification Consortium preferred
  • 8 years’ experience in information security, computer management, or IS networking including at least 3 years of information security experience required
  • A bachelor’s degree will substitute for 4 years of experience
