We are searching for a Senior Network Analyst - Enterprise Wireless Network- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will support local and wide area networks, and WiFi networks by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining an institutional data network.


For this role, preferred experience includes -

  • Wireless and network devices
  • Wireless authentication
  • Network access controls
  • Familiarity with wireless surveys
  • Monitoring tools 
  • Understanding of the OSI model

Responsibilities :

  • Resolves complex technical issues involving network equipment and the software which operates it, high availability applications, clustered hosts, in a multiple protocol, mixed media environment (copper and fiber-optic cabling plants.)
  • Hosts and attends meetings with vendors, other Institutional entities, and users to determine capacity requirements and connectivity issues
  • Collaborate with Network Architects in developing of a bill of materials and configuration templates, orders equipment, conducts initial testing and configuration
  • Meets with requesting user departments to discuss needs including new construction. Assists the Facilities Engineering Department with construction designs as requested
  • Maintains network equipment and hot spare device inventory
  • Documents new equipment for inclusion in maintenance contracts and coordinates asset tagging with Asset Management


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 7 years’ experience in information systems required
  • Bachelor’s degree will substitute four years of work experience
  • Master’s degree will substitute for two years of work experience
  • Current vendor/industry certifications are a plus
